Your Best Friend Pet Salon Inc. was opened in March of 2003 by co-owners Amanda Atkins and Suzanne Whitaker. Amanda and Suzanne wanted to have an upscale salon in Northern KY where they could offer customers quality services for their best friends. We understand that your pet is an important member of your family, and we promise to make him or her feel safe and comfortable while in our care. Our groomers are experienced, loving, and caring people with pets of their own and your companion will be treated like one of the family. |
| We use all natural, biodegradable shampoos because they are safe for pets and the environment. Our groomers are skilled in professional grooming techniques for cats and dogs and understand the particular grooming needs of different breeds. |
| Part of our grooming service is to check the condition of your pet's skin, coat, eyes, ears and teeth, and we can alert you to symptoms of common medical problems so you can consult with your vet early on. We also provide special treatments should your dog or cat have fleas or ticks, dry or irritated skin, or other conditions. We believe the services we provide to our customers are competitively priced and fair. Each pet is unique, and we will only suggest services that we believe are appropriate for his or her needs. |
Successful grooming is a partnership between us and our customers. We are always willing to share our knowledge of grooming, and to demonstrate our expertise every time we groom a pet. We care deeply about the well being of every pet entrusted to us. Our goal is to provide the client with the style they want, without causing undue stress and anxiety to their pet.

| Meet
Hal - Our Shop Cat Hal is an 9 year old cat who came to work for us in October of 2009 right before Halloween ( hence the name ). His duties around the shop include : looking out the front window for incoming clients, keeping the chairs in the office warm, checking the toilet daily for any plumbing problems, night and weekend security guard, and providing lots of love to all of the employees. |
